Anesthesia Services

Cutting-Edge Innovation and Proven Principles

AZ Heart provides compassionate and medically excellent anesthetic care for medical offices, ambulatory services, surgery centers, and hospitals in Arizona.

We work with a cohesive team of MD Anesthesiologists (MDAs) and CRNAs to meet high-performance operating goals like ontime starts, decreased turn-over times, and flexibility in modifying schedule changes. AZ Heart Anesthesia was the first group to employ and include CRNAs on an Arizona anesthesia care team.

Surgeons Ask for Us Because:

  • We care for high-risk medical patients (those who are often denied care by other Anesthesiologists).
  • Our team approach has enabled us to provide cost-effective anesthesia in today’s financially conscious medical environment.
  • We stay at the forefront of the healthcare – providing anesthesia and adapting our techniques to innovative surgical techniques like the MitraClip procedure, TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement), MVR (Mitral Valve Repair), and robotic Thoracic and Abdominal surgery.
  • Our Anesthesiologists are specially adept in providing Regional Anesthesia for intraoperative and postoperative pain control. This means patients can often go home earlier after surgery. (It also improves patients satisfaction scores.)
  • Having trained as Cardiac Anesthesiologists, we provide exceptional care for sick patients undergoing noncardiac surgery that requires invasive hemodynamic monitoring and TEE assessment.
  • We have our own billing service called Anesthesia Speciality Billing Service (ASBS) located in our Scottsdale office.
